Refit in 2018 purposefully for charter use, the 50m Kudanil is an ocean-going expedition yacht offering high levels of luxury. The impressive transformation saw the creation of eight equal sized boutique suites, in which up to 16 guests can be accommodated.
Combining the luxury of an expedition yacht with the built-in safety of a true offshore vessel, the ship’s structure and design make it one of the safest seafaring vessels in the region and allow it to venture to areas of the archipelago that other boats cannot reach.
Accommodation & Facilities
Kudanil Explorer features 8 spacious air-conditioned ensuite berths spanning 30.5sqm each, situated on the upper deck. Each one with the option of a king-size or twin configuration to accommodate 16 guests onboard, with additional single beds available for children on request. Cabins are fitted with adjustable air-conditioning, wifi access and an entertainment system including movies and TV series. Every cabin also has its own private balcony, fitted with a table and chairs and a daybed for secluded alfresco relaxation.
The accommodation arrangement is well suited to groups of friends or extended family, looking to share a truly wonderful holiday and experience. With a compliment of 19 crew and a highly experienced Captain, you can be sure of exceptional levels of service and hospitality.
On the main deck, the wide saloon features a bar and dining area. Other facilities on board include a library and a spa treatment room. There are private changing rooms with bathroom facilities for use when going to and from the water without returning to your cabin each time.
On Kudanil’s top deck, guests will find a sun lounge, bar and a relaxed dining area, which can be arranged as larger tables or split into a series of smaller tables – as one would expect to find in a restaurant. There’s also an on-deck Jacuzzi and more sun loungers.
The Kudanil Explorer has three custom tenders and array of water toys including clear-bottom kayaks, stand up paddle boards, surfboards, kite surfing and wakeboarding equipment, various towable inflatables, snorkeling gear and, for those who are certified, scuba diving sets.
Kudanil Explorer was converted in 2017 and spans 50m. 8 cabins accommodate up to 16 guests. She cruises at a maximum speed of 14 knots.
Originally launched in 1978 as a Safety Standby Vessel, the Kudanil Explorer is one of the safest seafaring vessels in the region and is maintained in dual class – ABS and BKI Commercial Yacht Unrestricted Navigation. A true offshore yacht, she is able to explore the most remote areas of the beautiful Indonesian Archipelago with ease.
Cruising locations in Indonesia vary throughout the year from Komodo National Park and the Spice Islands of Maluku, to the magnificent Raja Ampat region. The vessel follows the monsoon and sails from East to West to cruise on calm seas and avoid the rain.
All meals, non-alcoholic beverages, local transfers and fuel are included.
