Atlantis on the Rock at Waecicu Beach is the resort’s newest addition and also offers a sunset setting perfect for afternoon tea or sundowners.



There are just twelve villas at Plataran Komodo Beach Resort which ensures an intimate and friendly atmosphere. All made using local materials the villas sit close to the beach, all in keeping with the tropical setting.


The resort’s facilities include Plataran’s signature Padma spa with two treatment rooms and six treatments ranging from relaxtion massages to intense detox programs. For those wanting to keep fit, there is a gym which is for guests’ exclusive use. The dining options include two restaurants, the Patio Xanadu and Atlantis on The Rock at Waecicu Beach. For younger guests there is a Kid’s outdoor playground and the new Plataran Water World, a water activities center.



Besides exploring the aquamarine waters off the resort’s secluded beach, there are plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained. Charter one of Plataran’s many boats with Plataran Private Cruises to explore the neighbouring islands on a sea cruise. Atlantis Beachclub is a great spot for a day trip for a beachside lunch only five minutes from Labuan Bajo. Other day trips include a visit to Cunca Rami Waterfall, one of the many caves and saltwater pools nearby. For a cultural experience, Melo Village offers a fascinating insight into the Manggaraian culture where you can enjoy a Caci dance performance.
