PT Kereta Api (KA) Pariwisata, a subsidiary of state railway operator PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI), launched a new priority class service for KA Argo Muria traveling from Jakarta to Semarang in Central Java on Monday.
The KA Argo Muria KA14 train is scheduled to depart from Jakarta’s Gambir Station at 9 a.m., and KA Argo Muria KA13 will leave Semarang’s Tawang Station at 4 p.m
The priority class train, which can accommodate 28 people per trip, costs between US$35 on weekdays and IDR 68 on weekends. Tickets can be purchased at the train station as well as the operator’s distribution channels.
The priority class train will make stops at Cirebon, Tegal and Pekalongan stations. Available as a regular service every day, it is hoped to offer a new alternative for travelers seeking to enjoy a more comfortable journey. The priority class service was first introduced in August last year.
